EVERYTHINGKISS/KOLLECTIONS
DJ CHAUSKY
Hi there, I’ve been collecting since 1977, unfortunately I live in NYC and don't have space for my KISS museum...

Location: NYC, USA
How long have you been a KISS fan for and what was the first KISS record you heard? I've been a KISS fanatic since 1976, "Paul Lynde Halloween Special” changed me forever :) The next day my parents took me to Sam Goody(remember that store?) and bought DESTROYER, it blew my mind!
What was the first bit of KISS merchandise you bought? The first KISS merch I can remember getting is coming home from school one day and on my wall was the Jumbo ALIVE! Poster from Boutwell. My parents started my collection!
What is your favourite piece you own, and which is the most rarest? It's hard to choose a favourite piece, I'm partial to the 70's merchandise because it reminds me of my childhood and my room which was wall to wall posters. I love the sleeping bag, Halloween costumes, lunch box and Rub’n’Play. The rarest piece would be an enormous 6' x 6' promotional board promoting the release of DOUBLE PLATINUM. There was a record chain called "Peaches" and on their walls would be these wooden boards promoting the albums being released and the artwork of the album cover was replicated on the front. I actually won it in KISS costume contest! I'd need a gallery size wall to display it!
What KISS rarity would you most like to add to your collection? My holy grail is the Return of KISS tourbook from the DYNASTY tour. The original book that was scrapped. I've never seen one anywhere. I'd love the pinball machine as well but I don't have anywhere to put it :)
What does your family or partner think of your KISS obsession? My wife rolls her eyes and laughs every time something comes in the mail for me. She's gone to 3 shows with me though, that's my girl!
