How long have you been a KISS fan for, what was the first KISS record you heard? I have been a KISS fan since 1975, approximately 36 years. I became hooked after listening to ALIVE II, which I still own complete with all inserts.
What was the first bit of KISS merchandise you bought? I am pretty sure it was some of the Donruss trading cards (first set) and a yellow ROCK AND ROLL OVER sweatshirt (all of which I still own).
What is your favourite piece you own, and which is the most rarest? I am pretty proud of the extensive trading card collection I own (includes just about every trading card set ever released) and also every Nascar KISS car ever released. I would say I have several rare pieces including a bit of a towel with Gene Simmons’ stage blood, a complete set of the Magic Market cups with the coupons, a Japanese Kiss Vegas-style slot machine, all of the promo albums including, "A Taste of Platinum", customized Mego action figures, rare books including Robert Duncan's The Savoy Kiss of Death and the very hard to find '81 Kiss Diary, the full set of beer steins and a banner featuring Gene Simmons that hung outside the St. Pete Times Forum.
What KISS rarity would you most like to add to your collection? If I had the space, the Bally Kiss Pinball machine. Unfortunately, I am only allowed one room in our house for my collection.
What do your family or partner think of your obsession? My family indulges me and my obsession despite the money I have invested in it. My teenage daughter thinks it's, "Awesome".
