How long have you been a KISS fan for, what was the first KISS record you heard? I have been a fan since the first time I saw them on TV - and that was pre-Kindergarten! I watched “KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park” on TV with my mother as a child and was sold for life. But I wasn’t able to purchase my first record CREATURES OF THE NIGHT until I was in the 6th grade ...And I rocked that poor lil’ cassette tape every day ‘till the tape wore thin !!!
What was the first bit of KISS merchandise you bought? Posters, My room was and always has been covered in posters as far back as I can remember. The KISS Shoelaces were one of the first things I remember buying. I also got a a KISS necklace out of the gift box thing at the dentist’s office!!!
What is your favourite piece you own, and which is the most rarest? My variety and variations of KISS Dolls, and/or the original KISS Pinball Machine. My guitar collection as well, for sure.
What KISS rarity would you most like to add to your collection? Perhaps the KISS bedspread or the curtains are something I don’t have that would be cool.
What do your family or partner think of your obsession? No-one minds and everyone has been rather cool and very supportive. My father has even taken me to a KISS Concert at one point. It was actually sold-out and I was quite bummed, but because of his job and line-of-work he was able to get us in for free. We just had to do some work for the Civic Centre beforehand, so we wore his work uniforms to the concert with KISS T-shirts underneath! As soon as the job was complete (By the midst of the opening act) we went and watched a great show from the balcony with a great view! It totally rocked!!
