How long have you been a KISS fan for? I have been a KISS fan since the age of 11.
What was the first KISS record you heard? My Mom bought me my first KISS cassette with my new tape recorder my parents had given to me for my birthday. My first cassette was KISS ALIVE! and ALIVE II. (received the same day).
What was the first bit of KISS merchandise you bought? The first KISS merchandise I purchased was a concert T-shirt. My first KISS concert was when I was 17 and they were touring with WASP. It was a general admission concert and we skipped school and sat outside all day to get a good seat.
What is your favourite piece you own, and which is the most rarest? I don't really have a favourite item because so much of collection has been bought for me as gifts from special people in my life. I have a friend who spent her lunch hour driving around to get me all of the cups when they came out, so those are special to me because of the thoughtfulness that came with me receiving them. I don't believe I have anything rare.
What KISS rarity would you most like to add to your collection? The one item I would love to have is the pinball machine.
What does your family or partner think of your KISS obsession? When I married my husband, he liked KISS but not like me. We never miss a concert. He is a huge fan now and went with me to the KISS Expo in Indianapolis this year. We bought Paul's book and I was able to get my picture taken with Paul, Tommy and Bruce. It was such a great day.
